Job Description

 

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES : 

  • You will be involved in the strategic planning in line with the growth and success of Vosker, as well as promotional  activities, monitoring sales targets and forecast.  
  • Develop and achieve the sales business plan for the business by implementing the strategy, managing total trade spend by category, and achieving agreed shelf, distribution, and promotional targets.  
  • Analyse, identify, monitor, and address specific issues to achieve Vosker goals for sales, commercial spend, share, distribution, and operating budgets.  
  • Develop and implement trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customer.   
  • Proactively monitor and update the customer's overall business plan, including managing trade budgets, spending, and volume to achieve all sales objectives versus plan.  
  • Drive pre and post promotion evaluation to increase ROI  
  • Be accountable for the strategic account plan, based on internal objectives, marketing, business development, and shopper marketing plans, as well as external competitive marketplace issues and opportunities.   
  • Fluency English (written/verbal) (frequent contacts outside Quebec).

Qualifications

THE EXPERTISE REQUIRED TO TAKE US FURTHER:  

  • 5+ years as a sales leader with a proven track record of delivering business results, within the CPG industry  
  • Managing P&L and trade spend experience is required   
  • Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers.  
  • Proficient in gathering data and storytelling to deliver actionable insights.  
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP and Power BI is an asset.  
  • Completion of a university degree in Business Administration or any related field  
  • Solid hands-on experience in an analytical role, previous experience in a financial analysis or a planning role   
  • Be creative and have a facility for proposing legal solutions that support the company's growth; and 
  • Be motivated and passionate about excellence, innovation and contributing to the company's growth and success.
