Financial Restructuring OfficerThe Financial Restructuring Officer will manage specific assets, including the negotiation and implementation of restructuring/workout strategies, review of documentation, analytical review, preparation of internal memoranda, management of Bank owned assets and detailed knowledge of pertinent legal issues. The FR Officer must be a self-starter (pro-active vs. reactive), be able to comprehend and summarize complex structures and effectively communicate status and strategies.Our Shared Future:“This role offers opportunities to collaborate with our clients to address challenges they face during times of financial stress and work together to find optimal solutions for both the client and Rabobank.”You and Your JobAs a Restructuring Officer for the Wholesale line of business, you will be successful by delivering guidance and management to relationship managers and credit officers on early detection of problem loans, steps to remedy such conditions, and delivering lessons learned from distressed credits.Develop, execute and manage a restructuring/workout strategy for classified assets to minimize losses and maximize recoveries in a cost-effective manner. Consideration must be given to reputational and operational risks. This role will involve the coordination of activities on Complex Transactions. They will serve in an advisory role with the existing Relationship Management assessing credit fundamentals, undertaking steps to minimize future deterioration in the credit while safeguarding the Bank’s interest.Job Responsibilities• Develop, execute and manage a restructuring/workout strategy. This may include Chapter 11, out of court restructurings, loan sales and other restructuring alternatives.• Management of Classified Assets.• Coordination with senior management, head office, legal, finance and back office through-out the case.• Advisory role on accounts classified as Early Warning /Special Mention / OLEM to provide guidance and assistance to Account Managers in developing a strategy to prevent further deterioration.• Effectively handle multiple matters in a fast paced, high-pressure environment. These may include bilateral, multi bank and agent deals.• Personally review loan documents, business plans and financial statements.• Produce a high-quality work product while effectively managing internal and external resources.• Key Relationships: Financial Restructuring Officer must be familiar with the use and retention of law firms, financial consultants and investment bankers. We are Growing a Better World Together.Salary Expectations:Target Hiring Range: $200,000.00 - $260,000.00This position is subject to the terms of RDS’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons.
