An environmental consulting and professional services firm, is currently seeking experienced candidates to assist with the growth of our Industrial Hygiene division. Our company specializes in environmental due diligence, compliance, and industrial hygiene services to Federal, state, local, private, and industrial clients throughout the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. In addition to competitive salaries, We offer a broad range of benefits, including health insurance contributions, a 401k plan, mileage reimbursement, and paid vacation.Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager include asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, indoor air quality investigations, and abatement design projects. The position requires both technical and managerial expertise. Specific job duties and responsibilities will include:• Development of sampling/work plans;• Production of cost estimates and proposals for clients;• Coordination and scheduling of field assessments;• Proactive management of project related tasks;• Performing hazardous material assessments: identification, quantification, and assessment/sampling of suspect materials;• Performing assessments related to indoor air quality assessments: identification of potential contaminants, assessment of building envelope for moisture intrusion, inspection of ventilation systems, and sampling for various parameters including mold;• Evaluating and interpreting sampling data;• Supervision and mentoring of junior/field staff and subcontractors;• Preparing/reviewing/approving project designs, reports, plans, specifications, and other project deliverables;• Maintaining existing client relationships and developing new partnerships;• Tracking and meeting project deadlines and budgets;• Invoicing and project closeout; and• Assisting with marketing and business development, including preparing bids and proposals.Experience Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years of related experience of which three (3) must include supervisory and project management experience.Education Requirements: BA/BS degree in engineering, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or other related science.Training Requirements: EPA Asbestos Building Inspector, Asbestos Supervisor, and/or Designer in MD, DC, and/or VA. Competency in indoor air quality and microbial assessments. Must be familiar with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations. CIH, CHMM, CSP, or ASP are a plus.The desired candidate must also exhibit the following qualifications:• Experience and effectiveness in leading a team of IH field technicians;• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills;• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control;• Reliable, friendly, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;• Flexible availability to work nights/weekends, if required;• Desire to grow professionally;• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and willing to travel within the Baltimore-D.C. metro area;• Able to obtain/maintain clearance for work on Federal facilities
