Full Job Description:Our client is looking or a meticulous and organized Quality Control & Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for high-quality gemstones. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our gemstones, managing inventory, and handling various back-office functions. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operations and quality standards our clients expect.• Proven experience in a quality control, inventory management, or similar role (experience in the diamond, gemstone or jewelry industry is a must).Knowledge of diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones, and jewelry manufacturing• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Problem-solving skills showing initiative and follow-through• High standard of workmanship with experience in gold, platinum, and precious metals• Ability to check the quality of jewelry and obtain data from advanced gemological equipment• Provide support to the team and department supervisor• Handle all aspects of processing and quality control including analyzing, evaluating, and assessing the quality of incoming jewelry• Uphold and promote the accuracy, consistency and quality of standards and methodologies• Able to work using microscope to inspect pieces• Must be able to handle a fast paced environment• Must be willing to learnSkills:• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills• Great attention to detail Required• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devicesSkills:• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills• Great attention to detail Required• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
