The Enterprise People Technology team supports the successful deployment and adoption of new People technology across the enterprise. People Technology is one of the major segments of Walmart Global Tech’s Enterprise Business Services, which is invested in building a compact, robust organization that includes service operations and technology solutions for Finance, People, and the Associate Digital Experience.

What you'll do:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise conference room technology solutions across multiple locations, with a focus on Android-based systems.
  • Implement infrastructure upgrades and refreshes, ensuring system reliability, performance, and standardization.
  • Migrate and integrate conferencing platforms and hardware to align with evolving enterprise needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting room systems, especially those related to Android devices.
  • Automate workflows for deployment, monitoring, and device management to improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential latency, connectivity, and AV integration issues.
  • Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security and access control policies.
  • Support the evaluation and testing of new technologies, ensuring compatibility and seamless user experience.
  • Document best practices, deployment guides, and troubleshooting procedures for internal teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, AV engineers, network teams, and vendors, to deliver robust solutions.

What you'll bring:

  • Conference Room Technology: Experience with enterprise AV solutions, video conferencing platforms, and room automation.
  • Systems & Infrastructure: Strong background in Windows and android, system administration, and infrastructure management.
  • Networking & Security: Understanding of network configurations, firewall rules, and security protocols for AV solutions.
  • Cloud & On-Prem Integrations: Experience deploying on-prem and cloud-based conferencing solutions.
  • Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automating device management and monitoring.
  • Device Management: Hands-on experience configuring and managing AV hardware, scheduling panels, and peripherals.
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proficiency with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to ensure system health and uptime.
  • Collaboration Platforms: Experience with major conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Cloud Services: Azure or GCP.
  • Infrastructure & Device Management: Experience with configuration management tools, logging systems, and ITSM platforms.
  • Networking Protocols: SIP, WebRTC etc.
  • Security & Authentication: SAML,  Role-Based Access Control.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area and 3 years’experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization-related technologies.
Option 2: 5 years’ experience in technology infrastructure engineering across areas such as compute, storage, network, mobility or virtualization relatedtechnologies.

Preferred Qualifications...

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, information technology, or related area. and 1 Year of relevant experience in configuration management, developing automation for Provisioning and Orchestration, experience developing and managing service-level objectives (SLOs)/service level indicators (SLIs) for Infrastructure Service availability and performance., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
