Position Summary...What you'll do...Come join the Walmart Corporate Development team as a Senior Manager of Corporate Development and M&A! Corporate Development is a small, tight-knit, and high-performing team that's supporting the Walmart senior leadership on highly visible strategy and M&A initiatives across the Walmart U.S., Sam's Club, and Walmart International businesses.The role of Walmart Corporate Development team is to identify, evaluate, and execute on strategic opportunities to drive inorganic growth for Walmart through acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and other forms of structured partnerships. As a Senior Manager on the team, you will support the entire M&A process including strategy formulation, financial model/valuation analysis, and deal execution, partnering closely with Walmart business and functional leads, and many other stakeholders, both internally and externally.The Senior Manager of Corporate Development and M&A position offers significant exposure to senior leaders across Walmart and strong potential for career progression with the Company.Job Responsibilities:• Engage with Walmart business leaders to develop M&A strategy, identify, and assess potential inorganic growth opportunities, and build consensus• Develop and manage relationships with investment banking, private equity, and venture capital investors in retail, digital media, supply chain, and AI/emerging technologies• Lead all transaction-related financial modeling and valuation analysis• Manage Walmart's diligence process that involves working in close partnership with internal functional teams (e.g., legal, accounting, tax) and external advisors• Build presentations for Walmart's senior leadership that convey effective narrative, outline strategic trade-offs, and drive executive decision making• Support the Walmart Integration/Separation team on post-close planning and executionDesired Qualifications and Experience:• Bachelor's Degree• 5+ years of investment banking, corporate development, and/or equivalent experience• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail• Excellent valuation, analytical, and financial modeling skills• Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and project management skills• Ability to interact with senior leadership internally and externally• Location: The position is based in Bentonville (AR), and we have a great relocation package to help get you here!
