Position Summary...What you'll do...The Senior Manager, Operations, Daily Operations – Autonomous Delivery is a steward of scaled structures and systems, optimizing operations and improving efficiency for NextGen delivery (drones and autonomous vehicles). This exciting opportunity will involve taking autonomous operations from a pilot program to a national, scaled operation. This role gives you high visibility within the company and is critical for successful deployment. This role will work primarily with store operations, drone and autonomous vehicle engineering counterparts, energy, strategy, finance, legal, compliance, eComm, product, data, GIF, WFE, public and state gov’t affairs, and the broader E2E delivery team. The role is based in Bentonville.You’ll sweep us off our feet if…• You excel in driving operational excellence and process improvement initiatives, demonstrating a track record of successfully implementing operational initiatives.• You have established and maintained a strong reporting cadence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication, presenting at the executive level.• Identifies and implements process improvements to optimize operations and enhance overall efficiency.• Providing budgeting inputs and oversight to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) financial processes.• Prepares independently clear, concise, logically structured, and meaningful artifacts and communications.You’ll make an impact by…• Coordinating and managing the autonomous delivery development process, ensuring smooth operations and efficient execution through people and automation.• Measure, track, and analyze results, report progress, and optimize programs continuously.• Showcasing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, prioritize and resolve project issues.• Manage the following take-off and landing (TOL)/ stop and go (SAG) operator requests and needs: data, power, security, emergency operations center (EOC) as well as site inspections.• Resolving store manager, drone operator and community concerns.• Having technical expertise in autonomation, AI and GenAI.• Having proficiency in SQL, GCP, Tableau, Power BI.• Developing, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product operations, such as production efficiency, cost, and quality.• Overseeing training curriculum development – establishing simplified processes and structures - utilizing data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous learning.• Organizing and coordinating critical events such as Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR).
