Position Summary...nWhat you'll do...nUS Omni Platform product team is focused on improving Walmart customer experience across both physical & digital and making Walmart the most exciting place to shop. With 4000+ brick and mortar stores and thousands of other suppliers fulfilling Walmart's online/in-store orders for over 1 billion customers - the challenge and complexity is pronounced! We work within the world's largest retailer yet maintain a startup feel working in small agile teams to revolutionize the fulfilment landscape. As a leader in the supply chain group, you are accountable and responsible for delivering best-in-class experiences for several critical products/platforms that helps serve our customers in the most cost-effective manner in multiple geographies and businesses. What you'll do:nAs a Staff, UX Designer, you'll set the vision for the best in class experience for fulfilment experiences. You will use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, and develop a talented UX/UI team. You'll employ your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and product design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to cross-functional partners and the leadership team. While working with partners to determine a shared plan forward that balances business and technology considerations, you will lead a team to create and champion experiences that are highly usable and compliant with our design system. What you'll bring:nn• nBringing curiosity and dedication to solving problems and delivering value for our usersn n• nLeveraging design best practices when creating user flows, mockups, prototypes, workshop documents, and hand-off filesn n• nUsing various communication methods to convey data-driven design decisions, document design engagements, share information, and work towards alignment and mutual understandingn n• nDefining vision and strategies for each project through domain expertise, internal and external best practices, and by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovationn n• nBuilding collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing design efforts, and gaining buy-in from executive leadershipn n• nProviding overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needsn n• nBuilding a team environment by collaborating closely within our team and cross-functionally with our partners across the businessn n• nMentoring Senior Designers, Designers, Associate Designers, and Apprentice Designers in UX/UI design methodology and principles while providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout the design process to ensure high-quality deliverables and continuous growthn n• nWorking quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality and knowing how to adapt to ever-changing priorities.
