Position Summary...What you'll do...As Staff UX Designer, you will partner with a lean and high-powered team across product, data science & engineering, nutrition solutions, and strategy to design technology-enabled products and user experiences that improve healthcare delivery, health-related decision making, and clinical outcomes for Walmart customers. As the trusted internal voice of our users, you will shape the growth of an early-stage health & wellness project from the ground up, ultimately helping Walmart's millions of customers to live better every day. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director Product Management.About the team:This is a unique opportunity to join the Everyday Health Signals project, part of the Consumer Health and Data Solutions team under Walmart Health & Wellness. Our product delivers retail insights that will power the future of healthcare for our customers, through the unparalleled scale of Walmart's platform. We are building innovative 0-to-1 products that sit at the intersection of Health & Wellness, Data Science, and Retail Experiences.What you'll do:• Execute product vision & UX strategy: bring product vision to life by creating (and rapidly iterating on) prototypes that generate value for our users and business.• Be the user advocate: champion user-centered design principles and methodologies; partner with UXR to be the voice of users in product decision making.• Own end-to-end design: flex between strategy and execution. Oversee design from concept to launch, including the delivery of information architecture, user flows, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.• Partner cross-functionally: collaborate with product, research, service design, tech, and other Walmart teams from product discovery to launch.What you'll bring:• 7-10 years of product design experience, with a proven track record of hands-on design from concept to delivery for consumer and enterprise products• Expert skills with Figma + experience using Jira and other collaboration tools; proficiency in working with design systems and accessibility standards• Strong portfolio demonstrating elegant visual design and thoughtful interaction patterns• Demonstrated experience in driving iterative development and creative experimentation to identify and validate hypotheses• Ability to operate independently and execute multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment• Superb communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and drive alignment• Strong problem-solving skills & creativity to address complex design challenges• (Bonus) Experience building products with a Health, Data, and/or Retail component• (Bonus) Experience designing 0-to-1 products in startup or corporate incubation environments• (Bonus) Experience designing for AI and/or data products#LI-Onsite #LI-JR5This role is based on-site in San Bruno California, we have an excellent relocation package to help get you there!The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
