Warehouse and Logistics Manager (f/m/d)

Requirements

We are looking for a Warehousing & Logistics Manager to own the Gorillas in-house distribution center and distribution network. This role reports to our Head of Supply Chain & Logistics. The Gorillas Supply Chain Team is filled with professionals that offer a variety of skills to complement and support this role.

As one of the early members of Gorillas, you have one of the most consequential roles in making sure Gorillas delivers on its promise to the customer. The role of Warehousing and Distribution Manager has the unique responsibility of owning all warehousing and trucking for Gorillas. This role will be stepping into an established supply chain network with established tools and processes; however, the team is always ready to pivot and make new solutions the normal course of business.

Requirements for the Warehousing & Logistics Manager:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship building skills
• High attention to detail and ability to quickly derive and implement fact-based decision making
• Ability to navigate through complex and ambiguous situations without supervision
• Ability to travel as business demands requires
• Primary point of contact for 3PL trucking and warehousing providers
• Experience in business and data analytics; Excel experience required
• Create and maintain working spreadsheets that integrate 3PL source data into homogenized formats for internal business use
• Identifying shortfalls or gaps in processes for 3PL warehousing partners
• Following-up the action plans that resulted from 3PL failures
• Three years+ experience in any of the following:
  • 3PL Logistics and Warehousing
  • Inventory Management
  • End-to-end Supply Chain solutions
• Preferred experience:
  • Warehouse Management
  • Transportation Management
  • WMS super user and integration
  • Grocery/CPG warehousing and logistics
