Our Operations Team is critical to the success of Elevate Brands and a crucial link in driving growth across our rapidly growing private label brand portfolio. We coordinate with several freight and warehousing providers in the US and abroad to ensure that our products are always available to our customers on all our sales channels.
As a Warehouse Inventory Controller, you will coordinate all inventory movement from different parties and the main party responsible for inventory accuracy, control, and reporting.
What you'll do as a Warehouse Inventory Controller:
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
- Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
- Track rates of accuracy, purchase and return as well as defective items to inform quality control decisions
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
- Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service to our brand management and warehousing teams as necessary
- Assess inventory output on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis to identify trends in productivity
What the ideal candidate looks like:
- At least two (2) year of experience in inventory control or an analytical function, preferably at a startup or other fast-paced environment
- At least one (1) year of e-commerce experience, preferably working within the Amazon ecosystem
- At least one (1) year experience in Warehouse Project Management
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Superb Excel skills; expertise in Vlookups and Pivot Tables at minimum
These help, but aren't dealbreakers:
- Proficiency in Amazon-related data platforms, experience with SellerCloud, Elite Seller, and Netsuite strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Monday.com is preferred
