About the Role

A Warehouse operative is responsible for carrying out the safe and efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process and preparing finished product to be shipped and is a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away form a challenge. Duties and responsibility often include:

• Collecting and moving materials safely throughout the facility.
• Receiving and documenting materials into inventory.
• Issuing materials to various departments on the factory floor.
• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packaging boxes; placing orders in staging areas.
• Final preparation for finished product to be shipped.
• Follows all safety rules and practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

About You

Basic Qualifications

• Forklift experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior relevant experience
• Forklift certified
• Inventory control knowledge
• Overhead crane experience
• Knowledge of materials used within the steel building industry

Physical Requirements

• Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.
