The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the receiving, handling and stocking merchandise along with using handheld technology. The Warehouse Specialist is familiar with power operated equipment and warehouse environment. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
The starting pay rate for this role is $16.50
- Receive and stock merchandise using handheld devices

Use a fork lift or power jack to “pick” an order

Palletize and ship material

Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage

Inventory/count material in warehouse
-
Input into SAP inventory management which requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of the SAP WMS system

Tracking parts and tool room inventories
-
Maintaining proper inventory counts within recommended quantities and keeping the parts and/or tool areas neat and orderly

Fill out requisitions to order necessary stock

Some heavy lifting required

Load and unload delivery trucks using forklift

Labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing material
Must have the ability to:

Operate electric pallet jacks, stand up forklifts, and aerial work platforms (AWP)

Successfully complete all required training, including the use of industrial trucks (such as forklifts and Power Pallet Jacks,) and safety training such as HAZMAT and Safety in Motion

Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs over the course of a shift
-
Experience using technologies such as Wi-Fi handheld devices and computers
-
Work in sustained hot or cold temperatures over the course of a shift
-
Follow directions, both written and verbal, and work at a sustained pace throughout your shift

High school diploma or GED
-
Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist to manage inventory
-
Strong customer service skills
- Previous warehouse experience, including operation of industrial trucks, Wi-Fi handheld devices, warehouse management and warehouse controls systems is preferred

Hours and days off will be determined by shift bid. Normal warehouse hours are M-F, 0600 – 2230

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Schedules and start times are subject to vary.
