Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The warehouseperson is trained and experienced in a wide range of warehouse functions, including cycle counting, replenishment, order picker, QC checking, and any other duties as assigned. The warehouseperson may work in one area or be assigned where needed.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

The Warehouseperson working as a forklift operator and or replenisher must make certain that the correct sku # and quantity are moved into the pick line from the bulk or replenishment locations. This position requires unloading the dock and assisting the receiving team.

Pick at an accuracy level, such that the team can ship at an accuracy rate of 99.9% when working as an Order Picker.

The Warehouseperson when working as a cycle counter must count accurately and in a timely manner to maintain an accurate stock status.

The Warehouseperson when working in the QC checker function must completely and accurately perform stated quality control procedures to ensure accurate shipments to customers.

The Warehouseperson when working in the housekeeping function, must empty dumpsters, run the floor scrubber, remove cobwebs and perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Maintain a constant watch for any safety problems. Notify supervisor immediately of any unsafe working conditions or practices.

The Warehouseperson may be assigned to any task that they are trained and qualified to perform.

Maintain an attendance level of less than 4 sick days and less than 7 lates per year.

Skills:

Experience:

1 – 3 years in general warehouse environment.

Experience or training in a wide variety of warehouse functions (i.e., picking, replenishment).

Strong customer service experience and results oriented.

Experience or training on operation of lift vehicles and RFD equipment

Forklift certification
Education:
-
High school education or equivalent experience
