Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryResponsible for autoclaving and washing glassware used by laboratories. Position will be working between Endocrinology and Infectious Diseases labs.Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:• Collects glassware from the laboratories, washing all glassware and/or plasticware in the washer. Some containers, spatulas and other small items have to be washed by hand.• Returns clean glassware to the laboratories.• Picks up and delivers department mail from post office and distributes to employee’s mailboxes.• Autoclaves bottles, cylinders, pipettes tips, etc.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
