PostJobMatches By WorkStaff USA is a leadingstaffing agency in the job placement industry providing topnotchprofessionals to facilities across the country.Our team ofexperienced recruiters work together to match the best candidateswith the right job and / or business opportunities.Today we are Hiring a Remote Acute Care Hospital FinancialAnalyst III for our client in Farmington NM.This role can be workedremotely.Financial Analyst III candidates will havethe following job responsibilities :• Contribute or complete and file the reports togovernmental or other stakeholders• Participatein initiate or lead the process improvement projects• Gain a deep understanding of the Workday ERP system anduse it to innovate current processes to eliminate waste andincrease understanding• Responsible for theaccounting and records of all entity assets. Performs assetassignment audits inventory• Create trainingmaterials for financial processes for Finance Department andoutside stakeholders• Maintain and examinepersonal time log data to identify and createefficiencies• Prepares all necessary periodicfinancial statements that are accurate and complete on a timelybasis• Prepares monthly financial dashboardsthat are accurate timely and complete• Workswith the Department Leadership to review the contractual and baddebt reserves on a periodic basis for appropriateness and for usein the organizations reserve calculation and for operatingbudget• Analyses and interprets informationprepared or reported to provide internal leadership withinformation necessary to enhance decision making• Prepares selected journal entries for the general ledgerand works with the CFO Finance Department Manager and FinancialServices team to close each accounting period and year in a timelymanner• Maintains various balance sheet accountdetail on General Ledger and prepares monthly reports as back up asnecessary• Prepares various reports for monthend financial close as necessary• Assists CFOand Financial Services team with the preparation of the federal andstate requirements for NotforProfit returns (e.g. Form 990Community Benefit and others as assigned)• Actsas Financial Services team leader for the fixed asset inventory andfixed asset accounting projects. Coordinates with FinanceDepartment Manager and Financial Services staff to coordinate theannual review of fixed assets in a timely efficient and effectivemanner.• Reconciles the annual fixed assetinventory to fixed asset subsidiary and General Ledgerrecords• Prepares journal entries to recordresults of the physical inventory no later than the last month ofeach fiscal year• Works with the FinanceDepartment Management on internal control projects• Assists with preparation of the annual budget• Serves as lead contact during financial audits withindependent public accountants• Recommends andimplements new or modified processes to provide complete andaccurate financial and statistical reporting• Pursues process improvement to improve efficiency andeffectiveness of systems and reports• Incoordination with other Financial Services staff gains anunderstanding of and can function as the backup for other FinanceDepartment functions when necessary• Maintainsconfidentiality of all information handled• Provides a high level of customer service to all contactsin the organization• Each employee isresponsible for implementing Service Standards into their dailywork : Safety Courtesy Effectiveness and Stewardship• Other duties as assignedFinancialAnalystIIIFullTimeFinancial Analyst III candidates must meet the followingminimum job qualifications :• Masters degree in Business Finance orAccounting or a fulfillment of the requirement to be considered asa CPA candidate• A minimum of three (3) yearsexperience in accounting / Financial Analyst functions• Detail oriented with demonstrated analyticalskills• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Officesoftware• Advanced knowledge ofExcel• Excellent oral written andorganizational skills• Must have the personalintegrity flexibility and the ability to work effectively withother personnel to accomplish the goals of the Financedivision• Ability to work well independentlyand in a team• Thorough understanding ofgenerally accepted accounting standards• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Workday ERP SystemFinancial Module or prepared to learn the system independentlywithin the first two month of employment to fully accommodate thework assignment• Excellent knowledge ofpresentation design techniques to prepare internal and externalvisual documents• Need 5 7 years directhospital expPreferredQualifications :• CPA License or approved to sit for CPAexams• Accountant level III must be very experienced inaccounting / Financial Analyst functions 3 years• Will be given a skills test before interview skills testis level II• Knowledge and understanding ofWorkday ERP System Financial Module is a huge PLUSOpen to remote candidatesNo sign on / No relocation$34.37 / hourRemoteWork :Last updated : 2024-08-17
