As a Consultant in Aspirant's Marketing & Innovation practice, you will serve as trusted business advisor to our clients while leading a variety of business-related engagements. You will have the opportunity to be a hands-on leader, gathering and analyzing data, exploring innovative solutions, making actionable recommendations, and communicating with key stakeholders while ensuring that projects run seamlessly from start to finish. Your enthusiasm and creativity in finding solutions will help our clients achieve their vision. In this role you will lead and advise client engagements that may include brand marketing, digital strategy, customer experience, consumer centered design, and program & project leadership. This role provides an opportunity to broaden your leadership skills, work across a variety of industries, and exercise your entrepreneurial spirit to deliver superior results for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate directly on client engagements, providing expert insights and ensuring projects run seamlessly from start to finish. Engagements may include brand/digital marketing, brand strategy, new product development/launch, omni channel marketing, medical marketing, or market research.
• Own the discovery stage to identify client needs and desired business outcomes, conduct stakeholder interviews, analyzing findings, develop recommendations, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Manage with confidence, deliver structure where there is ambiguity, resolve stakeholder resistance and risks, and implement desired outcomes.
• Use effective storytelling to create concise and compelling presentations to key stakeholders and business leaders.
• Partner with an internal network of skilled consultants to solve client issues and deliver high value outcomes.
• Lead project workstreams to ensure on time, within budget, and cost-effective delivery of work.
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams to deliver results and foster an environment to recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
• Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients to identify collaborative efforts and propose new opportunities that contribute to the overall growth and success of Aspirant.
• Continually evolve and build a knowledge base (emergent trends, technologies, and approaches) within the area of marketing & innovation.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in variety of disciplines to include Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness/ Design.
• MBA/Master’s degree preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Prior work experience from a variety of business projects such as business integration, organizational change, digital/brand marketing, new product launches, mergers & acquisitions, or system integrations.
• Prior marketing work experience in a variety of industries to include consumer products, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or medical marketing.
• Project delivery work experience supporting well-developed workstreams and small projects.
• Well-developed financial and business acumen from working in a variety of business areas including supply chain, finance, operations, HR, marketing, and sales.
• Ability to create simple solutions in complex and unclear situations to synthesize a path forward.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams. 
• Demonstrated strategic big picture thinking paired with the ability to pivot and deep dive into the details as required.
• Confidence and presence to engage with clients at a senior leadership and line management levels.
• Strong problem-solving skillset with a design thinking approach.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies. Expertise in multiple project management tools.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products including the ability to develop compelling communication of complex concepts using PowerPoint.
• Strong written and oral communications skills, including delivering impactful presentations and meeting facilitation skills. 
• Ability to travel based on client requirements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• 1 or more years’ relevant business consulting experience in a variety of industries to include consumer products, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or medical marketing.
• Flexibility and confidence to contribute to any of Aspirant’s other Aspirant practice areas including Strategy & Transformation, Organizational Effectiveness, Digital Consulting, Technology Consulting, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Sales.
• Process improvement/Six Sigma/Lean Sigma experience.
