Accountant

Waymark is seeking an Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in creating and implementing financial insights and processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contribute to building accounting operations for the company.

Skills

Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Preparing financial statements and reports
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy

Compliance with GAAP regulations

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day GL functions including cash, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses.
Prepare timely and accurate financial records for reporting purposes.
Administer credit card program, T&E, and employee expense reimbursement process.
Process and administer payroll on time, including reconciliation and handling employee inquiries.
Assist with requests related to the annual audit.
Work alongside the Accounting Lead to develop critical processes within the department.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
