WEBCASTING ASSISTANT

Location: Kenilworth, New Jersey
Job Type: Contract
Compensation Range: $23 - 25 per hour

Our pharmaceutical client in New Jersey is in search of a Webcast Assistant to join the team! This person will provide administrative support to a department of 20+ in a highly collaborative, client-facing role.

Ideally, this person would be local to Kenilworth, New Jersey with the expectation of going on-site to receive IT technical support if needed. Remote candidates that work EST business hours will also be considered.

The duties will include general customer service, webcast platform support, and project-based work in collaboration with producers, project managers, and department leadership. We are looking for this person to excel at maintaining a professional company image through in-person, email, and phone interaction. The ability to follow precise instructions in a fast-paced environment is also highly desired. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a team-oriented attitude are also core expectations.

Training for technical aspects of the role will be provided.

This role is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term/ongoing contract position with healthcare benefits available for purchase, PTO accrual, and a 401k.

Responsibilities:

  • Process webcast requests-includes creating webcast links and booking crew and assets.
  • Modify webcast programs based on client request.
  • Respond to client emails and monitor webcasting phone line in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and maintain records and reporting.
  • Maintain team calendar including production and crew schedule.
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Quality control for webcast events.
  • Support staff in assigned project-based work.
  • Actively learn new software and tools as applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • College/technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Superior organizational skills are a must.
  • Basic HTML knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in English; Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word required.
  • Webcasting platform experience preferred.
  • Candidate must be responsible, accurate, technical, organized, self-motivated, flexible and able to work under deadline driven pressure.
  • Microsoft Windows PC hardware will be provided; personal equipment may not be used for this role.
