Come, let's dance towards a future where dreams take center stage.JOB TITLESocial Media ManagerLOCATIONSt. Louis, Missouri (On-Site)JOB SUMMARYThe Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and owning a comprehensive social media strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director of Ecommerce and the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager. This role leverages social marketing techniques to enhance reach, engagement, traffic, and new customer acquisition across all Weissman brands. The incumbent manages the social budget, oversees social advertising activities, and acts as a subject matter expert in audience targeting and using social ads for customer acquisition.Additionally, the Social Media Manager develops engaging content, maintains a comprehensive social calendar, tracks key performance metrics, and drives social commerce strategies. The role requires collaboration with the Creative Team and Videographers to produce branded video content, management of the Brand Ambassador and Macro Influencer programs, and partnership with the Customer Care Team to resolve customer issues. The Social Media Manager stays updated on social media trends and ensures compliance with organizational social media standards and policies. The position also includes planning and executing social contests, moderating user-generated content, and managing special projects to enhance social media engagement and performance.RESPONSIBILITIES• Develop and own a comprehensive social media strategy in partnership with the Senior Director of Ecommerce and the Senior Integrated Marketing Manager, executed by the Social Media Marketing Manager.• Manage the social budget for Weissman and Dancewear Solutions, overseeing all social advertising activities including promoted posts, ads, ambassador/influencer programs, and social tools.• Create engaging, attention-grabbing, and shareable social content that connects with our target audiences (dancers and their parents), fostering interaction with our brands.• Maintain a comprehensive social calendar covering activities on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with overall company marketing initiatives.• Track key performance metrics through analytics and social media performance reports, communicating insights to the broader organization.• Implement strategies and tactics designed to drive social commerce, facilitating in-app purchasing via Meta and TikTok.• Collaborate with the Creative Team and Videographers to develop engaging branded video content for Weissman and Dancewear Solutions.• Oversee the Brand Ambassador and Macro Influencer programs, including relationship management, product distribution, and content collection and utilization.• Partner with the Customer Care Team to address and resolve customer comments and issues on social media.• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platforms, and tools, leveraging them to increase our following and engagement.Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, eCommerce or related fieldExperience Qualifications4-6 years in Social Marketing, preferably with an online or fashion retailerSkills and AbilitiesExperience in competitive dance background is a plusGenuine passion and interest for social media and social trendsDemonstrates creativity and sparkling with conceptual ideas that will engage social audiencesStrategic thinking with strong analytical skillsWHAT DO WE OFFER?Joining Weissman isn't just about a job; it's about embracing a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your life inside and outside of work.
