About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Tax Analyst in the Controllers Division. You will be part of a team responsible for the accounting for income tax for the Company. This role will have primary preparation responsibilities related to the organization's monthly provision processes and intercompany tax sharing computations as part of our accounting for income tax team...
In this role, you will:
• Perform Global (especially USA) tax accounting activities supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end tax provisions.
• Prepare quarterly and monthly Tax provision work papers and assist in the preparation of the year-end external Tax audit work papers
• Support Tax provision process by assisting in the monthly tax system maintenance and updating reports that support the monthly closing process.
• Collect and process accounting and income tax information.
• Preparation of specific items supporting intercompany tax sharing allocations.
• Maintain documentation supporting Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal audits.
Required Qualifications:
• 2+ years of Corporate Tax, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
• An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• 2+ years corporate income tax experience
• Large corporate income tax return or tax provision experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access) skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
• Longview, Essbase, and/or SmartView experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
• Master's degree in Accounting or Tax
Job expectation
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
