They are skilled in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and databases, and are responsible for creating user-friendly, scalable, and robust AI applications.In this role, you will:• Design and develop both front-end website architecture and back-end web applications.• Build new features and APIs, and integrate them with the front-end.• Develop and maintain web services and interfaces.• Create and maintain databases and servers.• Write clean code for both front-end and back-end.• Perform automated testing and provide feedback during the software development phase.• Test changes to previously created programs.• Troubleshoot software and fix bugs.• Maintain and upgrade software following implementation.• Collaborate with product management teams and graphic designers for web features.• Work closely with other departments on projects and sprints.• Lead reviews of colleague's work (unit testing, code review).• Support team members with technical challenges.Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education• 4+ years of Python experience• 4+ years of User Interface and/or User ExperienceDesired Qualifications:• Ability to ensure site compatibility across a range of screen resolutions.• Contribute ideas and experience to new development solutions.• Knowledge of modern technological advancements in web apps and programming languages.• Experience preparing documentation and reports.• Ability to support the project after its completion and integration of updates.• Ability to handle various tasks and responsibilities independently, working on both the client-side (user interface and user experience) and server-side (database, server, and application logic) of a project.Job Expectations:• Ability to work on-site at posted location, hybrid is currently available• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship• Relocation assistance is not available• New York City-Pay Range: $138,500-$287,600• San Francisco – Pay Range: $138,500-$287,600Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
