Job Overview: 

The Service Technician III - Master CFESA provides maintenance and repair of commercial cooking equipment and or commercial HVAC/R equipment and demonstrates the ability to lead, mentor, train, and lead other team members. 

The incumbent is trained in at least two skill sets, maintains a high level of productivity, and currently holds three of the four CFESA certifications and is assigned to the on-call roster.  


 

Service Technician III Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Adhere to all SAFETY policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
  • Utilize tablet to document task (parts order, work order, timesheet) on a timely basis.
  • Communicate professionally with customer regarding required repairs and status.
  • Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.
  • Monitor truck stock to insure required parts are stocked on vehicle.
  • Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.
  • Work independently with daily supervision.
  • Participate as scheduled for weekend/holiday on-call rotation and work regular overtime as needed.
  • Obtain correct part numbers through branch parts person.
  • Collect payment on COD jobs.
  • Contribute positively to branch targets for response time and first time fix rates.
  • Participates in available training to increase skill and knowledge.
  • Performs other duties as required.

 Qualifications:  

  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required. 
  • 1 Year of applicable experience.
  • Driving record under auto liability insurance guidelines.
  • CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications.
