Whispering Pines Senior Living Facility in Cadillac is hiring a flexible cook to also work as a server. Are you looking for more than just a job? This is a part time position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with meal preparation, serving, and cleaning the kitchen and dining room
  • Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
  • Menu planning, prep and prepare meals for residents using standardized recipes
  • Must have experience cooking entire meals in larger quantities (20+ meals) and serve safe certified preferred, but not required
  • Plate and serve meals promptly and efficiently, presenting food in an appealing and appetizing manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Delivering room service trays
  • Transporting residents to and from the dining room
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, following health department regulations and facility policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
