Job Description

Reporting to the Team Lead of IT Systems Administration, the Systems Administrator will spend 80% of their time on projects and tasks and the remaining 20% of their time resolving tickets from the corporation's ITIL ticketing system. The Administrator will also focus on improving and optimizing their responsible technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research, design, and implement best enterprise patch management and deployment practices.
  • Proactively research and analyze the data to identify potential issues associated with the patching of various IT systems and implement the necessary fixes in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for installing, updating, and maintaining assigned applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide support for hybrid Cloud/on-premise applications, including, but not limited to, Azure AD, Entrust, MFA, IAM, PAM, Certificates, and Citrix-based applications.
  • Manage assigned tasks and projects, with the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives.
  • Follow ITIL practices regarding incident, problem and change management.
  • Administer multiple data center facilities where systems may operate.
  • On-Call duties and travel between various Data Centres as required.

Qualifications

  • Completion of University or College in any subject related to Computer Sciences.
  • Expertise in patch management and deployment using MECM or similar.
  • Proficient in application support for Windows, Linux, and Unix-based systems.
  • Skilled in managing security certificates for web-based applications.
  • Experience with Azure AD, Entrust, SSO integrations, and Identity Access Management (IAM).
  • Proficient in supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
  • Hands-on experience with PAM (Privileged Access Management) solution administration.
  • Skilled in Windows and Linux server administration.
  • Experienced in administering Office 365.
  • Experience managing DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Azure AD and other Network Protocols.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Project management is an asset.

Additional Information

Hours: Currently days, eight hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

This is a Hybrid role: Roles that function remotely, but require essential, regular onsite weekly work.

Annual Salary:
Minimum:  $77,200.50
Maximum: $96,505.50
