Maintenance Tech (Louisville, KY 40299)

We’re looking for a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Louisville, KY area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and grounds cleaning and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, previous apartment or property maintenance. Must have basic experience of painting, plumbing and general repairs. 
 
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week).

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (Monday-Friday).

Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00 per hour, plus cell phone reimbursement and a one-time sign-on bonus of $500.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Previous property, apartment or general maintenance experience required
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electric, etc. 
  • Basic computer skills.
  • After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb ladders.
  • Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
  • Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
  • Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
  • Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
  • Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
  • Other related tasks, as assigned.
