We are a leading company in the organic food and beverage industry, dedicated to producing high-quality, sustainably sourced products from small farmers across Latin America. Our focus is on creating meaningful interactions with our customers while supporting local communities. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager & Content Creator who can elevate our digital presence and build engagement with our audience through captivating content.

Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager & Content Creator, you will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence, creating compelling content, and driving engagement across multiple digital platforms. You will develop social media strategies, create visual and written content, and manage digital campaigns. The ideal candidate should be creative, proactive, and highly skilled in the latest social media trends, while also comfortable interacting with an English-speaking audience. Occasional travel to our offices in Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Maryland will be required.

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in social media marketing and content creation.
  • Strong proficiency in social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or Sprout Social.
  • Expertise in managing paid ad campaigns on social media platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads).
  • Excellent copywriting skills for both organic social content and ad campaigns.
  • Near-native proficiency in English, with strong communication skills for interacting with U.S.-based clients.
  • Fluency in Spanish, as many communications and marketing materials are in Spanish.
  • Availability to travel occasionally to offices in Colombia, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Maryland.
  • High level of creativity, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and outreach.
  • Passion or knowledge of the coffee industry or food and beverage sectors is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the company’s presence on social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Plan, create, and post highly engaging visual and written content (photos, videos, stories) for all social media channels.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Write compelling copy for social media posts, newsletters, blogs, and paid advertisements.
  • Monitor and engage with the social media community, fostering strong relationships with followers.
  • Research, launch, and manage influencer collaborations that align with the brand.
  • Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Plan and organize content shoots for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with emerging social media trends and integrate them into the brand’s strategy.
