As a leader for our Expenses development team you will be leading a team of talented, dynamic and passionate software engineers. Working with architects, product managers and other stakeholders you will facilitate the delivery in an Agile environment, of innovative features for our Workday Expenses product which are designed to meet the needs of our large and diverse customer base. The team’s overall goal will be to accelerate the delivery of new features in an agile environment while safeguarding the high quality our customers expect from Workday applications. You will :
About You
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of experience building and directly managing impactful engineering teams
8+ years of experience developing applications using Cloud-based technologies
8+ years of experience with design and development using an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, C++, etc.
Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
Other Qualifications:

You have a strong focus on delivering high-quality software products, continuous innovation, and you value test automation and performance engineering
You are proactive and have a consistent track record for delivering on initiatives that you start or are tasked with
You demonstrate the interpersonal skills needed to positively influence important issues or decisions in a multi-functional environment
You have the ability to communicate technical complexity in simple terms to both technical and nontechnical audiences
Experience in ERP application development is a plus
Experience supporting team members career growth and development
You put people first and ensure a psychologically safe environment for team members
