About the Job

Our rapid growth has created an excellent career opportunity in our Finance department. In this role, the Finance Team Lead will be responsible for providing support in tax planning and compliance activities for World Business Lenders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of analysts to assist in preparing tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other tax filings.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
  • Support the finance team in tax audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
  • Maintain tax records and documentation in compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Research and stay updated on tax regulations and requirements in USA.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and assist in implementing tax strategies to optimize tax liability for the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance in business operations.
  • Assist in developing and implementing internal controls related to tax processes.
  • Provide tax support and guidance to other teams within the organization.

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or CPA.
  • 4+ years of experience in tax planning and compliance, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in the US (required).
  • Experience working with external tax advisors and handling tax audits.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tax projects.
  • Ability to manage an accounting team.
  • US GAAP and audits experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing tax regulations and business requirements.
