IT Business Analyst

The Role:


We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Business Analyst with experience in low-code scripting to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions, leveraging low-code platforms to streamline processes and create efficient, scalable solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work closely with stakeholders, and a solid understanding of low-code platforms.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $76,000- 96,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above).


* While this position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions, preference will be given to candidates based in the Pacific Time Zone

You Will Be
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs and objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation within the organization, leveraging low-code platforms to implement efficient and scalable solutions
  • Utilizing low-code scripting platforms (Google Apps Script, Zapier, Javascript, Retool, etc.) to design, develop, and deploy applications that meet business requirements
  • Translating business requirements into functional specifications and system designs, ensuring alignment with IT standards and best practices
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including vendors, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects
  • Supporting project managers in organizing, planning, and executing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Developing and executing test plans to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of requirements, processes, solutions, and user guides
  • Providing training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize the solutions developed


You Must Have
  • 3-4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in low-code development platforms such as Google Apps Script, Zapier, Retool, and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in low-code scripting and development
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and improvement
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage relationships with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience


$76,000 - $96,000 a year
