A leading global logistics and shipping company, renowned for its innovation and excellence in supply chain solutions are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst with a focus on digitalization to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project update regularly against project plan to ensure visibility of project progress to ensure project completion in time and on budget.
• Translate business requirements to local business applications.
• Provide technical support to local business applications and liaise with ITS counterpart for EGAP application supports.
• review the change request, implement and maintain approved local applications and reports according to changing business needs.
• Adhere to change management process.
• Provide requested ad hoc services on application.
• Provide training and advice of core/local applications to users.
• Liaise with third party software/hardware services providers as an extension of software development/support resources.
• Develop business applications using flexible methodology (SDLC) but ensure quality of deliverable.
• Provide technical support to users based on service level agreement.
• Liaise between ITS and business users by ensuring business and technical information are well received by both parties.
• Provide consultancy and advice with the aim to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Create, maintain and update system documentation and user guides.

• Degree in Information Services (or equivalent)
• 3 years IT and business experience, preferably in logistics industry
• Proactive and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Strong teamwork / collaboration skills with good oral and written communication skills
• Broad understanding of business operations
• Project Management skills will be a bonus, with understanding of Agile, Waterfall or other similar methodologies.

Technical expertise in:

• Desktop systems and application environment
• Some knowledge in telecommunications and networking
• Good understanding of MS SQL database, with database management as a bonus
• In-depth knowledge of system development tools - ASP.NET, SQL, PHP, Java, Power Platform, Power Platform etc.
• Some knowledge in business application development life cycle
• Desktop applications (e.g. MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, etc.)
• Good understanding of latest web technologies in Cloud and API will be a bonus
