Application Engineer, Tube Bending - job 2 of 2

Xometry is seeking an Application Engineer with expertise in tube bending to support customer quoting, supplier sourcing, and project management. The ideal candidate will bring a background in manufacturing and technical aptitude in hydraulic tubing.

CAD proficiency
Technical communication skills
Design for manufacturability knowledge
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets

Responsibilities

Provide cost estimates for tube bending and metal fabrication products
Assist in identifying and developing a partner base
Recommend pricing for projects based on historical data
Identify partner capability gaps and train the sales team
Liaison with the auto quote team for manual quoting capabilities

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering highly preferred
