As the Chief of Staff to the CTO, you will play a key role in enhancing company productivity and efficiency. You will be responsible for strategic planning, managing initiatives, and driving operational excellence across the CTO's portfolio, which spans technology, people and culture, customer operations, and executive responsibilities. This position involves collaborating closely with the CTO, overseeing program management, ensuring alignment and progress on key initiatives, and providing both strategic and tactical support. The role requires strong influence and engagement skills, the ability to switch context across various high-impact topics, and acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the CTO and leadership team.
Partner with the CTO and leadership teams to define, prepare, and communicate the CTO’s monthly, quarterly, annual, and 5-year strategy, staffing, and development plans.
Collaborate with the CTO’s leadership team to deliver, monitor, and communicate progress on projects, initiatives, and overall goals within the CTO’s areas of accountability.
Proactively identify potential issues or blockers, actively providing solutions and involving the CTO and relevant stakeholders as needed to ensure desired outcomes.
Support the CTO in preparing executive board, supervisory board, and organizational presentations and written communications.
Plan and lead strategy sessions with the CTO and extended leadership team.
3+ years of relevant working experience, combining management or inhouse consultancy in a strategic role
Exceptional capabilities in conceptual and strategic thinking, Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Self-starter with a hands-on approach, prepared to get into the details and take accountability to ensure goals are met
Strong networker with excellent judgement
Willingness to take on new challenges and to question the status quo
Highly driven and ability to keep up with multiple ongoing projects
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate on all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
Fluent language skills in both German and English
