Senior Visual Designer

Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a UX/Visual Designer. This is a 6 month + contract hybrid remote position located in Mountain View, CA. Summary: • Seeking a UX/Visual Designer. Responsibilities: • Aesthetic sensibility ability to make design decisions that increase the overall appeal of a product based on relevant aesthetic trends and appropriate application and product brand styling.• Craftsmanship ability to make design decisions that result in a coherent product, platform, or user experience, including the ability to question and assess execution, craft, longevity, and scale of designs.• Presentations ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and to speak competently to the level of the audience.Requirements:• Web standards development or prototyping skills (Figma, Principle or Protopie).• Experience building good, collaborative relationships across geographically distributed teams.• Familiarity with user research methods or experience working closely with researchers.• Familiarity with cloud computing or data center technologies.• Familiarity with software development.• Interest and expertise in data visualization.• Product design Knowledge of product design principles and user-centric processes.• Not accepting candidates who have primary projects on B2B, Tools design, Desktop design and Internal tools creation.• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.Preferred qualifications/Nice to Have:• Familiarity and experience working in the Ads space.• Experience with writing content for additional modes of communication such as direct mail, phone scripts and printed user guides.• Expert command of writing benefit-oriented, consumer-focused copy.• A strong understanding of user experience principles, and email marketing.• Ability to work globally and cross-functionally in an ambiguous environment.• Excellent project manager and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives at the same time.• Excellent leadership, oral and written communication, project management and analytical skills.• Professional experience: 1 -3 years' experience in writing and designing product experiences as part of a UX team developing software and/or at a digital agency.• Proven ability to drive design thinking through working closely with UX and product teams.Pay rate range: $45.45 - $59.51 hourly.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
