Our team at Zip is growing quickly, and we need your help!

We are looking for a mid to senior-level Brand Designer who is eager and excited to help build a category-defining brand through campaigns, events, product launches, advertising, web design and much more. You will be closely collaborating with our talented team of marketers, growth strategists, product designers and broader organization to help bring Zip’s vision and mission to life.

Please note, we are looking for someone who will be able to come into our downtown San Francisco office on a hybrid basis (2 - 3 days / week).

Your role 

  • See projects throughout the entire design process from creative conception to execution

  • Help expand and grow the Zip brand system across a range of surfaces like events, print and digital ads, webinars, web pages, presentation decks and more.

  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, and the product team to execute brand campaigns, product launches, customer content, and more.

  • Partner with animators to create motion-based assets

  • Actively contribute to the evolution of the Zip brand by exploring novel solutions that support our brand and marketing goals

Qualifications 

  • 3-5+ years of experience working as a designer in-house or at a start-up

  • A strong portfolio showcasing brand experience across a range of mediums

  • Excellence in typography, color theory, layout, and composition

  • Effectively able to communicate concepts and design rationale

  • Strong skills around critical thinking and storytelling

  • Embrace an iterative design process and receptive to feedback

  • Able to work independently, drive multiple projects at once, and iterate quickly

  • Foster strong working relationships with team members and cross-functional partners

  • Comfortable in your soft skills: listening, negotiating, and decision-making

  • High proficiency in Adobe Suite and Figma 

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $170,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
