The Role

As an Enrollment Services Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of our enrollment processes, with a focus on resolving non-standard cases such as transfers, extensions, and other unique enrollment requests. Your main objective will be to address and remove any obstacles that may impact the students’ enrollment and onboarding experiences. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, you’ll work cross-functionally with other teams to provide swift, precise support for enrollment processes. The ideal candidate will bring excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of our policies and enrollment procedures, all while delivering exceptional service to our students.

  • Background in order management or customer service operations and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

What you’ll do

Enrollment Operations 

  • Manage complex enrollment cases, such as late admissions, technical issues, payment inquiries, and other unique requests, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Ziplines policies.

  • Process transfers, withdrawals, refunds, adjustments, and extensions

  • Issue enrollment verification letters for reimbursement

  • Answer questions about enrollment policies, deadlines, and requirements.

  • Deliver excellent service to university partners and corporate clients by efficiently processing bulk enrollments

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems

Collaboration & Process Improvements

  • Work closely with Admissions, Finance, Learner Success, and other teams to resolve inquiries effectively and maintain a cohesive service experience.

  • Serve as a liaison between students and internal teams, ensuring accurate and timely communication to provide clear, practical solutions.

  • Track trends in enrollment issues, contributing feedback to enhance enrollment workflows and minimize recurring challenges.

  • Maintain accurate records of enrollment actions and case resolutions to support process improvements.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 USD annually for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area (this is considered the Ziplines Education virtual home base). Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, location, experience, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
