Designated Support Engineer

Zscaler is a leading security cloud provider looking for a Designated Support Engineer to join their Focal Support team. The candidate should be passionate about solving challenges faced by client-facing teams and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Skills

  • Support and networking experience
  • Firewall and packet filtering knowledge
  • HTTP/HTTPS troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of IPv4, IPv6, routing, DNS

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve customer cases promptly
  • Communicate with assigned customers to keep them updated
  • Build trust with customers by understanding their requirements
  • Participate in on-call rotation for weekend issues
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure case handling
  • Replicate customer issues and assess workarounds
  • Open bug reports for code defects

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent certifications
