Specialty Account Manager, Referral
What you will do

In this vital role you will be responsible for representing Amgen's Rare Disease products to Primary Care/FP/GP/IM, Podiatry, and Orthopedic physicians and healthcare professionals, establishing Biotech/Infusion product sales, increasing referrals for appropriate patients to the Rheumatology and Nephrology specialties, and performing total territory account management. The Referral (SAM) will work strategically and collaboratively across the existing sales teams to uncover unmet needs in the uncontrolled gout patient population that exists outside of Rheumatology and Nephrology to enhance the current business in markets where we have significant presence of KRYSTEXXA® advocates as well as highly efficient centers of excellence. The Referral (SAM) is also responsible for providing account management support to accounts within a specific geography in the PCP, Podiatry, and Orthopedic marketplace with a focus on issues specific to patient identification, disease state education, and referrals to local Rheumatologists and Nephrologist.

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or hospital sales experience

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is $118,00.00 to $144,000.00. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
