The Role

As Director, Field Marketing, you will lead the field marketing team to lead demand generation and account engagement programs in collaboration with the field sales team. Partnering with a dedicated group of Account Executives and Account Managers, you’ll develop programs to deepen account engagement, including executive events, tailored content, targeted ads, use cases, partnership opportunities, and our annual conference Amplify.

You will also take ownership of Amperity’s event strategy, overseeing a team that manages both sponsored and owned events. This includes overseeing logistics and creating strategic pre- and post-event engagement plans to increase pipeline generation, increase brand awareness, and tell the story of Amperity and its customers.

You’ll work with teams across marketing, sales, business development, and customer success to create programs that deliver growth, strengthen customer relationships, and amplify Amperity’s impact in the market. You will report to the SVP; Marketing.

Interesting Problems

  • Build high-Return on investment marketing programs including virtual events, Executive Level programs, tradeshows, regional in-person events and Amplify, Amperity’s annual user conference.
  • Manage the annual field marketing budget globally to ensure efficient allocation of resources and forecast completion. 
  • Work in collaboration with the sales teams to agree on goals and plans that support pipeline growth and revenue
  • Partner with our teams including Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Growth Marketing on campaign strategies, execution, enablement and follow-up to maximize program success to lead generation and pipeline. 
  • Analytics: Use data and analytics to optimize campaign performance, attain or exceed Measurements, and measure Value.
  • Leadership: Build and mentor a team of field marketers, encouraging a collaborative culture that aligns with Amperity’s values and growth goals.

About You

  • 10 years of experience building and delivering of field marketing campaigns, events, executive and key account programs, and joint partner activity while leading teams
  • 10+ years experience in B2B field and event marketing
  • Experience building a variety of marketing tactics including social media, webinars, email, paid digital, partner marketing
  • 10+ years of experience independently leading complex, programs.
  • Budget management skills, able to maximize impact while controlling costs.
  • Experience partnering with departments such as Sales, Business Development, and Customer Success to lead demand
  • Experience developing multi-channel demand generation and field marketing campaigns (digital, in-person and hybrid)
  • You are someone who naturally steps up and takes ownership of all aspects of a campaign or event
  • Operate with a people-first mindset, including all partners
  • History of building trust across teams
  • Willing to travel 30-40% to regional events 
  • Project management and process improvement capabilities
  • Hands-on experience with tools like 6Sense, Marketo is sought after.

Location

Seattle, WA or New York, NY

We have a hybrid work model for employees based in Seattle, WA, and New York, NY, with three days in the office days each week, providing a mix of in-person collaboration and remote flexibility

Compensation

Base Salary:  $150,000 - $200,000. Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. 

Cash Incentives: Cash incentives are also available.

Stock Options:  The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package. Every employee at Amperity receives a new-hire equity grant, commensurate with the scope of their position.
