Work-Life Balance – Flexible scheduling options and a supportive team environment.About the RoleAs the Lead Nurse Practitioner, you will serve as a clinical leader within the Adult Medicine unit, overseeing nurse practitioners while providing top-tier, evidence-based care to our patients. You will work collaboratively with our Medical Director, nursing team, and support staff to enhance patient outcomes, ensure compliance with quality measures, and help shape the direction of healthcare at BMS.Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
  • Supervise and mentor nurse practitioners and other mid-level providers.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical outcome measures and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Director to develop policies and improve patient care standards.
  • Participate in clinician peer reviews, performance appraisals, and competency evaluations.
  • Chair and attend key leadership meetings to enhance unit performance and team coordination.


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Board certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner (ANP, FNP).
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in adult medicine, primary care, or community health settings is preferred.
