Technical Community Manager

As our Technical Community Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and growing our vibrant community. Responsibilities

  • Manage the Botpress Discord Community: Cultivate an active and welcoming space where users engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and support one another. Proactively drive conversations around product updates, best practices, and emerging trends in AI and automation.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing Teams: Act as the bridge between the community and internal teams, sharing valuable user insights, gathering feedback, and ensuring that community-driven needs influence product development and marketing strategies.
  • Host Educational Events: Organize interactive sessions such as AMAs, webinars, and hands-on workshops to educate the community, showcase advanced use cases, and spark excitement around Botpress.
  • Empower Community Champions: Identify, nurture, and recognize highly engaged users who contribute valuable insights, answer questions, and help others. Provide them with tools, exclusive content, and opportunities to take on leadership roles within the community.
  • Champion User-Driven Development: Establish structured feedback loops, such as advisory boards and beta programs, to ensure that the voices of power users and key community members directly impact the product roadmap. Advocate internally for improvements based on real-world use cases.
  • Create Technical Evangelists: Equip passionate users with the resources and visibility to become thought leaders in the Botpress ecosystem. Provide speaking opportunities, guest blog spots, and support for running local meetups or community-led initiatives that drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Prior experience with community management, moderation, or events (clubs, online groups, volunteer organizations, etc.).
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm about software and technology—you don’t need to be a Computer Science major, but familiarity with with tech and software is essential.
