Responsibilities

Oversee the collections department and manage day-to-day operations.
Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize bad debt.
Train, mentor, and manage collections staff to achieve departmental goals.
Maintain and analyze collections data to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate successful repayment.
Collaborate with other departments to improve the overall customer experience.
Prepare regular reports on collections performance and present findings to senior management.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections or financial services, with managerial experience preferred.
Strong understanding of collection laws and regulations.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work some early evening and Saturday work hours.
