Manager - Program Management and Communications Office (PMO)

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Supporting the Localized Pricing refresh process throughout each step of data prep and validation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to uncover and drive business value through actionable data insights through our merchandising assortment and pricing
  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings to non-analytical peers
  • Work closely with Senior Marketing and Merchandising Executives, Category Managers, and Business Unit Leadership to enhance business performance
  • Constructively challenge the status quo to advance and evolve how Circle K approaches and executes pricing, promotions, and item assortment, given internal and external/environmental trends
  • Maintaining relationships with internal and external partners, and developing an understanding of the strategies and business operations of the Company
  • Identifying training needs in our strategic business partnerships, by evaluating opportunities and gaps within the Data and Analytics framework
  • Acclimating new hires to the business and DDM framework while conducting orientation sessions, to include both a broad audience and a one-on-one scope, dependent on current organizational needs
  • Researching and consulting with subject matter experts (both internal and external) to create training programs that are effective, current, relevant, and compatible with Company policies and standards
  • Provide a strong analytical voice to the rest of the business and be an advocate for using data to solve problems and create business value  
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical role (e.g., Analytics, Financial Planning & Analysis, Economics, Market Research)
  • SQL skills a plus with a working understanding of databases, ETL processes, and Data Modeling on unstructured or undefined data sets across multiple business functions using large data processing platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience with BI Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Knime, OBIEE, Qlik)
  • Be able to travel up to 20% to other company sites or attend offsite training as needed. 
  • Experience presenting findings to business partners across the organization, including senior-level management
  • Excellent technical skills and a strong passion for data analysis and investigation and should also be intellectually curious in the quest for answers to the cause and effect of business outcomes.
  • A self-starter mentality and ability to operate within a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Experience in designing analysis plans to complete projects efficiently
  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
