About the role:

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially focused Senior Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of financial strategy and supporting Civica’s executive leadership. Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, you will be a key partner to senior stakeholders, providing financial insights and guiding decision-making in a dynamic and evolving environment.

  • Partner with senior leadership to deliver accurate and insightful financial analysis aligned with Civica’s strategic goals.
  • Take ownership of cost control and variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee financial planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and business planning submissions, supporting functional executives.
  • Manage month-end processes and reporting, collaborating with the finance team in India to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead and mentor a team, with two direct reports, fostering professional growth and a high-performance culture.
  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions and strategic priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining processes and optimising financial operations.
  • Provide financial training and guidance to budget owners, fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Work in a manner that embraces Civica’s culture and values, contributing to the development of the finance function and the wider business.
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management accounting, and cost control, with strong technical skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • A customer-focused mindset, with excellent stakeholder management skills to influence and support senior leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing change effectively and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive, hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience in financial systems and reporting.
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification preferred, with experience in the software/tech industry being advantageous not necessary.
