Genetic Counselor (Temporary Contract)

As a Genetic Counselor at Color Health, you will engage in telephone-based clinical genetic counseling for participants receiving genomic results. You will provide clear support via phone and email, review clinical genetic test reports, and collaborate with internal teams to implement genomics programs effectively. To apply for the Genetic Counselor position at Color Health, you must have a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program, be certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC), and either hold or be eligible for licensure in your state. Experience in hereditary cancer, cardiovascular genetics, or pharmacogenomics is highly preferred.

Beneficial clinical experience for the Genetic Counselor role at Color Health includes providing genetic counseling in areas such as hereditary cancer, cardiovascular genetics, or pharmacogenomics. Familiarity with ACMG59 gene panel counseling and telehealth experience are also considered valuable assets in this role.
