Job Description

The Kitchen Specialist will work as a member of our Hospitality team to create and streamline recipes and create standard operating procedures to create alignment with our stores and restaurants.    

  • Collaborate with the director of culinary and corporate Kitchen Mgr in the creation and management of all recipes for Eataly North America. 
  • Collaborate with the director of culinary and corporate Kitchen Manager, in the design and execution of cost-containment strategies to maximize Eataly's profits 
  • Collaborate in the standardization and centralization of all the recipes for the  main restaurant brands of the company.
  • Performs ingredient replacements for Eataly North America recipes 
  • Monitor Price increases with the corporate product team.   
  • Monitor virtual menus and margins impact on store P&L and coordinate solutions with the Hospitality team to be delivered to stores 
  • Communicate across all stores and product teams updates regarding ingredient replacements 
  • Assist in generating reports for product forecast 
  • Monitor and edit recipe books for Eataly North America 
  • Manage Nutrition Information label for Pronto and Gastronomia
  • Assist in the creation and review of menu RPMs (recipe, price, margin) for Eataly North America

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Hospitality or Food & Beverage experience 
  • Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail 
  • Positive attitude, patience and willingness to be flexible and readjust priorities as needed 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays  
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time 

The base pay range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 per year.
