Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Urban Development Lead to drive and continue our growth and presence in the ACT market. This leadership role is responsible for managing and directing a team of professionals within our Urban Development service line, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and strategic alignment with our operational goals.

As the local leader of our ACT team, you will oversee resource allocation, team structure, and process efficiency, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. This role may also include the management of direct reports, such as Team Leads, to support business objectives.

You will report to the NSW/ACT Regional Leader, who holds overall accountability for commercial, people, and performance outcomes in the region. You will also receive strong support from senior leadership, including the Operations Leader ANZ and the General Manager – Urban Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the ACT Urban Development team, driving operational success.
  • Oversee resource allocation and team structure to align with business objectives.
  • Maintain a strong local presence and build relationships within the ACT market.
  • Ensure project delivery excellence and contribute to business growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategy and operations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Engineer degree.
  • 10+ years of post-graduate experience in Urban Development.
  • Proven experience in team management, including resource allocation and budget oversight.
  • Strong client engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding and presence of the local market.
