In a nutshell:
The programme you will be involved in consists of two internally developed web applications and a range of additional services (reporting services, data services, business intelligence services) to support our internal customers – the global Eurofins network of laboratories – in their day-to-day sales and analytical services activities for their customers.
The programme is core to Eurofins’ strategy by enabling efficient cross-selling between laboratories. Components of the programme and its data are used by a wide range of Eurofins applications, making it a key programme within the international Eurofins network.
Responsibilities:
Your main objective is to define the functional specifications, in close cooperation with the business analysts and the scrum teams. You will analyse the system in an Agile way, focusing on functional software needs, and translate complex requirements into User Stories that the scrum team can work on.
As a Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Skills: We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates strong communication, a detail-oriented approach, commitment, an analytical and problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and who can produce clear documentation, build relationships, self-manage, and continuously improve.
Education: Engineering degree, Master's in Science, or Bachelor's with relevant experience. Software implementation knowledge is a plus.
Languages: Fluent English is mandatory; other European languages are advantageous.
Experience: Initial experience in software development (functional analyst, business analyst, or project manager). International exposure is beneficial.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Scrum, Service-Oriented Architecture, UML, development tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps), user story/UI mockup development, and SQL is valued.
