FP&A Director (Remote)

Hasura is looking for a strategic, results-driven FP&A Senior Manager/Director to drive financial planning and deliver insights that guide key decisions. You will provide support to our key business stakeholders for financial planning and analysis. Additionally, the role will work with cross functional teams to lead various projects related to budget planning, forecasting, and financial operations.

What the role will involve:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Drive annual financial planning process cross-functionally with intimate understanding of our business.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the Finance team on financial reporting, budgeting, financial analysis, risk management, and internal reporting to leadership and the Company’s Board of Directors.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, assess profitability, and uncover opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Ops, etc.) to align financial strategies with business objectives and understand evolving needs.
  • Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership, translating complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing, and customer success, creating dashboards to visualize performance (e.g., CAC, CAC payback, Magic Number, retention rates).
  • Process improvement: Drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
  • Benchmark financials, set realistic yet ambitious targets based on a deep understanding of the business, and drive the company toward needle-moving improvements in financial performance.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance, with at least 3 years in a SaaS business.
  • Proven experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and SaaS metrics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and BI tools.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.

  • Located in Greater NYC area preferred
  • Experience with FP&A platform implementations
  • Experience with NetSuite

Compensation:

The compensation for this role ranges from $190,000 - $220,000 (including bonus) plus ESOPs.
