About High Time Foods:

High Time Foods is revolutionizing the way chefs and foodservice operators incorporate plant-based proteins into their menus. We provide a sustainable, versatile, and delicious solution for professional kitchens looking to expand their plant-based offerings without compromising on taste or functionality. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team.

The Role:

We are seeking a Culinary Innovation & Sales Specialist who is passionate about food, experienced in recipe development, and excited about bringing plant-based proteins to life in professional kitchens. This role blends culinary creativity with hands-on sales support, as you will be working directly with our sales team to conduct product demos, engage with chefs, and drive adoption of our products in the foodservice industry. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and testing new recipes, including appetizers and other innovative dishes, as well as supporting product development and ingredient sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and test innovative recipes and dishes using High Time Foods' plant-based proteins, including appetizers and main courses.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to conduct in-person product demos for chefs, restaurant operators, and foodservice professionals.
  • Provide culinary guidance and expertise to clients, helping them integrate our products into their menus.
  • Engage with co-manufacturers, help source ingredients, and assist in launching new products.
  • Travel to customer locations (locally) to showcase our products and build strong relationships within the industry.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced and evolving startup environment, embracing flexibility and new challenges as they arise.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to provide insights from the field and enhance product positioning.

Who You Are:

  • You have a culinary degree and experience in recipe development, ideally with plant-based proteins.
  • You are comfortable in a sales-adjacent role and enjoy interacting with chefs and foodservice professionals.
  • You have a valid driver's license and reliable car to visit clients in the region.
  • Sales experience is a plus but not required – what matters most is your ability to connect with others and communicate the value of our products.
  • You thrive in a startup environment where things are constantly evolving, and you don’t need micromanagement to stay motivated.
  • You are adaptable, resourceful, and ready to pivot when necessary.
  • You are excited about working with a mission-driven company and contributing to the growth of plant-based foods in foodservice.
  • You are based in the Boston area and willing to come into the office regularly (several times a week).

What We Offer:

  • Work in a diverse and fun team!
  • Fair compensation with performance-based incentives.
  • Equity opportunities – be part of building something meaningful.
  • Health benefits and a supportive, collaborative work environment.
  • The chance to make a real impact in the plant-based food space and work with an innovative, passionate team.

If you’re excited about blending culinary expertise with sales, and you want to be part of a fast-growing startup making waves in the food industry, we’d love to hear from you! Apply today and let’s build the future of food together.
